Kid Central News and Notes: February

Since Pastor Tony is doing an overview vision casting sermon series for all of 4CBC as we start 2019, he asked the volunteers in K-5 to take the month of February off from being over in Kid Central during the service so that they can be in the worship service for the whole month. During this time the volunteers will have a chance to join together with the whole church body to build a cohesive church vision as we move forward into 2019.

This means that we will not have K-5 Kids’ Church during the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday mornings during February.

All kids are invited to join their families in the worship service this month. Kindergarteners are welcome to join the preschoolers during this time if sitting through the service would be too much for them.

We will still have K-5 Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday and hope you will come join us then! Each Sunday we will learn about a different character trait we want God to grow in us as his children.

Our Bible point this month is: Love. Kids, show your parents what awesome listeners you are and make sure to point your index finger up in the air and shout “Ah ha!” when you hear people talking about love this month!

Our memory verse this month is: John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (NLT) What motions can you use to help you remember this verse? If there are any words you don’t understand in this verse, make sure to ask an adult to help you learn what they mean.
