Kid Central News and Notes: March
It’s a new month - happy March! The Kid Central team hopes all the kids enjoyed their chance to be in with the adults during February (all the kids did a great job listening!), but we’re excited to announce that Kids Church will be starting up again this month, with just a little change from what we used to do.
Instead of the K-5 kids starting over in the Kid Central building at the beginning of the service, they are invited to join everyone over in the sanctuary for the singing time at the beginning of the worship service. When that time is over, they will be dismissed to join the Kid Central volunteers at the back of the sanctuary and then head over to their building for a time of learning and Bible stories together. (Preschool and nursery will still start over in the Kid Central building before the service.)
So kids, when you hear the announcement in the service that it’s time for you to join us, we hope you will!
March does have 5 Sundays so you will be back in the whole worship service with your families on Sunday, March 31, for Family Sunday.
Our Bible point this month is: Faith. Kids, show your parents what awesome listeners you are and make sure to point your index finger up in the air and shout “Ah ha!” when you hear people talking about faith this month!
Our memory verse this month is: Matthew 17:20b
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” [NLT]
If there are any words you don’t understand in this verse, make sure to ask an adult to help you learn what they mean. We’ll learn motions together this month to help us remember this verse!
